Church Hill Farm
Introduction
We are a 5 bedroom bed and breakfast farmhouse which dates from the early 15th century. Three rooms are on the first floor in the farm house and the 2 remaining rooms are outside in the courtyard. They were completed in 2007 and were converted from an old farm building. The rooms outside are suitable for everyone including the elderly and some disabled people.
We have 4 stars from Visit Britain.
Pre-Arrival
We can be contacted by phone, mobile, fax or e-mail for availability. It is useful to have an arrival time if possible.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is a car park in front of the house that can hold 4 cars. There is parking by the courtyard which can take 2 cars and there is an overflow car parking area around the back of the main car parking area.
From the main car park there are 4 steps up to the path which leads you to the front door where there is one step in to the house.
If parking in the courtyard for the 2 rooms outside, there are no steps and it is smooth paving which means a wheelchair can get straight into the building.
Main Entrance & Reception
Main entrance is a large oak door. For guests who need to get in after 10pm there is a key available for another door, as the oak door only has a bolt. There is a hall and passage way that leads to the staircase.
Public Areas - General (Internal)
The main house is carpeted, there are 12 steps to the bedrooms upstairs, the stairs are 43 inches wide and have a depth of 6.5 inches. My 86 year old father in law found no problem with them. There is a hand rail that goes up the stair case.
The bathrooms have a wooden effect called amticio.
The rooms in the courtyard have wooden floors. The shower and wet room have stone floors (quarry tiles) with underfloor heating.

Courtyard bedrooms
The Hurlingham suite is very suitable for wheelchair users; it has a ramp built into the drive which means you can easily wheel yourself in. The main entrance door into the suite is 34 inches wide, and the door into the bathroom is 33inches wide. The bathroom is equipped with 3 grab rails, it is a wet room and has a shower seat to sit on if you should need it. It also has a seat raiser for the toilet which goes over the toilet with bars on each side to add extra support.
If it is required, it needs to be requested as it is taken out of the bathroom when not required.
The bed is 26 inches from the floor to the top of the bed. The bed can either be a Superking bed or it splits into twin beds.
